Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules of conduct for all Users of the AgroZap Platform. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, and/or legal action under applicable Indian law.
1. Prohibited Activities
1.1 Fake or Fraudulent Registration
- Registering with false business details, fabricated GSTIN, fake PAN, or non-existent company information.
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions, gain unfair advantages, or manipulate ratings.
- Impersonating another business entity, brand, or individual.
- Using stolen identity documents for KYC verification.
1.2 Data Scraping & Automated Access
- Using bots, crawlers, spiders, scrapers, or automated scripts to access, extract, or harvest Platform data including product listings, pricing, supplier directories, or user information.
- Attempting to bypass rate limiting, CAPTCHA, or other access controls.
- Bulk downloading of catalogue data without written authorisation from AgroZap.
- Using the Platform's data to build a competing service or database.
1.3 Spam & Unsolicited Communication
- Sending unsolicited commercial messages to other Users through Platform messaging tools.
- Submitting bulk or automated enquiries without genuine purchasing intent.
- Harvesting contact information of other Users from the Platform for external marketing purposes.
1.4 Malware & Cyberattacks
- Uploading files containing viruses, trojans, ransomware, spyware, or any malicious code.
- Attempting unauthorised access to AgroZap's servers, databases, or administrative systems.
- Conducting Denial of Service (DoS) or Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
- Exploiting Platform vulnerabilities. (Responsible disclosure: report discovered vulnerabilities to contact@agrozap.in.)
- Injecting SQL, scripts, or other malicious code into Platform inputs.
1.5 Fraudulent Transactions
- Placing purchase orders with no intention to pay (ghost orders).
- Submitting fraudulent return claims or manufacturing false damage evidence.
- Misrepresenting product quality, quantity, or regulatory status.
- Colluding with other Users to manipulate prices, ratings, or reviews.
- Accepting orders the Seller knows cannot be fulfilled.
1.6 Intellectual Property Infringement
- Listing products using counterfeit trademarks or brand names without authorisation.
- Reproducing, copying, or distributing AgroZap's proprietary platform content, database, or code.
- Uploading product images, technical documents, or marketing materials that infringe third-party copyright.
- Reverse engineering the AgroZap Platform or its APIs.
1.7 Platform Circumvention
- Attempting to conduct transactions with other Users outside the Platform after introduction through AgroZap, to avoid platform fees.
- Sharing personal contact details in enquiry messages to initiate off-platform deals.
- Requesting Sellers/Buyers to transact through alternative channels for the same products discovered on AgroZap.
1.8 Illegal & Regulatory Violations
- Listing or trading in products banned under Indian law.
- Using the Platform for money laundering, hawala transactions, or financing of illegal activities.
- Violating export control regulations, FEMA, or import/export licensing requirements.
- Facilitating sale of regulated pesticides to unlicensed purchasers.
1.9 Harmful Content
- Posting defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, or threatening content in any Platform communication.
- Sharing content that violates the IT Act 2000, IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules 2021, or any other applicable law.
- Uploading obscene, pornographic, or otherwise unlawful content.
2. Reporting Violations
Users who become aware of AUP violations by other Users are encouraged to report them to contact@agrozap.in with supporting evidence. AgroZap will investigate all good-faith reports and take appropriate action.
3. Consequences of Violation

4. No Waiver
AgroZap's failure to act on any specific violation does not constitute a waiver of its right to act on that or similar violations in the future.
